Clara was born and raised in Olney, Maryland. She developed an interest in photography in middle school, and pursued it further in high school, learning different analog processes. Clara went on to study photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology where her work began to focus on landscape and its connection with emotion and experience.

She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Art Photography in May of 2024. While in school, she worked in the on-campus printing lab and discovered a love for printing of all kinds, analog and digital. Upon graduating, Clara began working at Old Town Editions to continue the fulfilling practice of bringing artists’ printing visions to life.
