Artist Consultations

One of the many things that sets Old Town Editions apart from other printers is our commitment to partnering with our clients. We don’t just make your prints and send you on your way, we work with you to make sure you have as much information and as many tools as possible to find success in selling your prints. We know that we’re only successful if you’re successful, so we take the time to address each artist’s individual needs and answer any questions they may have. Whether you’re brand new to the process of art reproduction or you’ve got years of experience under your belt, we’re ready to meet you where you are and help ensure your long-term success.

FAQ

How do I set up a consultation?

You can reach us at 703-684-0005, or via e-mail at info@oldtowneditions.com. We do require appointments, so please reach out if you’d like to set up a time for a consultation or to drop off your artwork! We’d love to schedule a time to meet with you.

What do I need to bring with me?

The most important thing to bring is just some ideas of questions you’d like to ask! You can bring your artwork with you if you think you’d like to start a job when you come in, or if there is something particular about your artwork that you’d like to ask us about, but this isn’t required. We’ll never pressure you to start a job when you come in; it’s perfectly fine to come in just to get information to take home and think about. We’ll be here when you’re ready!

How long does a consultation take?

This varies from person to person, and depends mostly on the amount of questions you have or topics you’d like to cover. We try not to overwhelm you with too much information at once, and typically cater our consultations to each person. Plan to give yourself at least 30 minutes, or up to an hour if you expect to have quite a few questions.

Is there a fee for consultations?

No! There’s no charge for a consultation.
