Virginia

Old Town Editions is one of the first and most established digital fine art printers in Virginia, and in the country. As a reputable Virginia printmaker, we have clients spanning from Northern Virginia to Richmond and Lynchburg in the south and Front Royal and West Virginia to the West. We have worked on many projects with Virginia and West Virginia artists, photographers, galleries, and museums.

One of our notable projects was reproducing a Kevin Adams painting for a special limited edition print used in fundraising for the 75th anniversary of the Shenandoah National Park. We have also worked on numerous projects at the National Park Service Artifact Conservation Center in West Virginia. These prints are now in museums all over the country.

As a Virginia printmaker, we offer educational talks about the giclee process and its benefits to artists to organizations located in and around the Washington DC area.  We have held giclee talks in the past with the Potomac Valley Watercolorists, Springfield Art Guild, The Art League of Alexandria and many others. Please inquire about these talks for your artist organization today.

Washington DC

Old Town Editions has been working with Washington DC area artists, photographers, galleries, and museums for over 20 years. We have engaged with the Washington DC area art community on many different levels. We gave a free educational talk about fine art digital printing at the Jackson Art Center in Georgetown. We have partnered on projects with Gallery Plan B. We also produced the large, super high-resolution file that the Smithsonian Museum of American History uses in their Star Spangled Banner exhibit. Our DC artists range from botanical artists to large-scale oil painters to photojournalists.

We are located just a few miles from downtown Washington DC, in historic Old Town Alexandria, VA.

Old Town Editions works with Maryland area clients ranging from the DC area to Annapolis, the Eastern Shore to Baltimore, and Hyattsville to Frederick. We have been printing for Maryland artists, photographers, galleries and museums for over 20 years. You may have seen our prints at Strathmore in Bethesda. We have also collaborated with muralist William Cochran in photographing his “Cornerstone” mural at the Rockville Town Center. We enjoy working with the Maryland art community and hope to engage in more outreach and educational events soon.  We are just over the Maryland/Virginia border, no more than an hour’s reach of most of Maryland.

We have held Giclee talks in the past at the VisArts Center in Rockville and the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, among many others. Please inquire about these talks for your artist organization today
